The non-profit Foundation plays a key role in providing reliable and accurate information to the public, medical community and government agencies about lyme disese lime disease and other tick-borne diseases and their potentially serious effects on our health and quality of life. The Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation works with patients, physicians and researchers throughout the world to obtain and provide scientific, peer-reviewed information on Lyme disease and other tick-borne infections.

The National AIDS Fund is one of America’s largest philanthropic organizations dedicated to eliminating HIV/AIDS as a major health and social problem. The Fund’s primary purpose is channeling critical resources to community-based organizations to fight HIV/AIDS at the local level. Through 29 state and local public-private coalitions – its Community Partners – the Fund provides grants and other support to nearly 500 grassroots organizations principally for prevention efforts. The Fund’s Community Partners use the leverage of national grants to raise support locally, and make community-level decisions about how and where funds should be spent. Together with its Community Partners, the Fund has raised and allocated nearly $100 million since 1988 for the fight against HIV/AIDS in America.
